What Intuitive Art Means to Me

Hi everybody,

Although to me intuitive art is quite a complex discipline, I have chosen to call myself an intuitive artist back in 2018. The term can be defined in many ways and as intuitive artists we work in a variety of media and styles. We can create from different perspectives and we always aim to express ourselves in our own authentic way. The only thing that we all have in common is that we work with intuition and we explore what that means to us personally. So, let me tell you a little bit more about how I perceive intuitive art and why I became an intuitive artist.

Intuitive Art

Making art is my passion. I usually create from my imagination, which gives my work a touch of enchantment and mystery. Before starting a piece I always take a moment to quiet my mind and then I surrender completely to my intuition. This means that I give my conscious decision-making a break. I love intuitive work where I don't know where the artwork is going until it is almost finished. Whether I create intuitively or from observation, with or without intention, I always aim to create something beautiful and uplifting for the soul. I believe that positive imagery has a healing effect on our inner balance and health. 

Light-Beings and their Realms

The imagery that appears in my intuitive work is filled with figures, elements and symbols from various traditions. Since the characters are always friendly and happy, I collectively call them light-beings. I also represent their realms. I love researching possible interpretations and sharing what they personally mean to me but it is possible that the subjects resonate even deeper with the viewer and that further personal interpretation can be added.

Vision, Still Life or Request

Also when I create from a vision, from observation or for a request, I start off with a brief moment to clear my mind but the creative process is different in the sense that I make conscious decisions along the way and that I know what I intend to create.

Introduction to my Intuitive Art

My subjects are diverse and as an artist I believe I have the freedom to create in many different ways, but I always strive to create art that brings love, peace, joy and compassion. Today, in 2025, I believe that the kind of intuitive artist I am could also be called a spiritual or visionary artist.

Wat Intuïtieve Kunst voor Mij Betekent

Hallo allemaal,

Hoewel intuïtieve kunst voor mij een vrij complexe discipline is, heb ik er in 2018 voor gekozen om mezelf een intuïtief kunstenares te noemen. De term kan op veel verschillende manieren worden geïnterpreteerd, en als intuïtieve kunstenaars werken we met diverse media en stijlen. We creëren vanuit verschillende perspectieven en streven er altijd naar om onszelf op een authentieke manier uit te drukken. Het enige wat we allemaal gemeen hebben, is dat we werken met intuïtie en verkennen wat dat voor ons persoonlijk betekent. Dus laat me jullie iets meer vertellen over hoe ik intuïtieve kunst zie en waarom ik intuïtief kunstenares ben geworden.

Intuïtieve Kunst

Kunst maken is mijn passie. Meestal creëer ik vanuit mijn verbeelding, wat mijn werk een vleugje betovering en mysterie geeft. Voor ik aan een werk begin, neem ik altijd even de tijd om mijn geest tot rust te brengen, en daarna geef ik me volledig over aan mijn intuïtie. Dat betekent dat ik mijn bewuste besluitvorming even opzij zet. Ik houd van intuïtief werk waarbij ik pas tegen het einde weet waar het kunstwerk naartoe gaat. Of ik nu intuïtief werk of op basis van observatie, met of zonder vooropgesteld doel, ik streef er altijd naar iets moois en opbeurends te creëren voor de ziel. Ik geloof dat positieve beelden een helend effect hebben op ons innerlijk evenwicht en onze gezondheid.

Lichtwezens en hun Werelden

De beelden die in mijn intuïtieve werk verschijnen, zijn gevuld met figuren, elementen en symbolen uit verschillende tradities. Omdat de personages altijd vriendelijk en gelukkig zijn, noem ik ze gezamenlijk “lichtwezens.” Ik beeld ook hun werelden af. Ik houd ervan mogelijke interpretaties te onderzoeken en te delen wat ze persoonlijk voor mij betekenen, maar het is ook mogelijk dat de onderwerpen nog dieper resoneren bij de toeschouwer en dat er aanvullende persoonlijke interpretaties ontstaan.

Visioen, Stilleven of Opdracht

Ook wanneer ik werk vanuit een visioen, naar observatie of op verzoek, begin ik met een kort moment om mijn geest tot rust te brengen. Maar het creatieve proces verloopt dan anders, omdat ik tijdens het maken bewuste keuzes neem en weet wat ik wil creëren.

Introductie tot mijn Intuïtieve Kunst

Mijn onderwerpen zijn uiteenlopend, en als kunstenaar geloof ik dat ik de vrijheid heb om op vele manieren te creëren. Toch streef ik er altijd naar kunst te maken die liefde, vrede, vreugde en mededogen brengt. Vandaag de dag, in 2025, denk ik dat het soort intuïtief kunstenaar dat ik ben ook wel een spirituele of visionaire kunstenaar genoemd zou kunnen worden.

Ce que l’Art Intuitif Signifie pour Moi

Bonjour à tous,

Bien que l’art intuitif soit, pour moi, une discipline assez complexe, j’ai choisi de me qualifier d’artiste intuitive depuis 2018. Ce terme peut être défini de nombreuses manières et, en tant qu’artistes intuitifs, nous travaillons avec une grande variété de médiums et de styles. Nous créons à partir de différentes perspectives et cherchons toujours à nous exprimer de manière authentique. La seule chose que nous avons tous en commun, c’est que nous travaillons avec l’intuition et explorons ce que cela signifie pour nous personnellement. Alors, laissez-moi vous en dire un peu plus sur ma vision de l’art intuitif et sur les raisons pour lesquelles je suis devenue artiste intuitive.

Art Intuitif

Créer de l’art est ma passion. Je crée généralement à partir de mon imagination, ce qui donne à mon travail une touche d’enchantement et de mystère. Avant de commencer une œuvre, je prends toujours un moment pour apaiser mon esprit, puis je me laisse guider entièrement par mon intuition. Cela signifie que je mets de côté les décisions conscientes. J’aime travailler de manière intuitive, sans savoir où l’œuvre me mènera avant qu’elle ne soit presque terminée. Que je crée intuitivement ou d’après observation, avec ou sans intention, je cherche toujours à créer quelque chose de beau et d’élévateur pour l’âme. Je crois que les images positives ont un effet bénéfique sur notre équilibre intérieur et notre santé.

Êtres de Lumière et leurs Royaumes

Les images qui apparaissent dans mon travail intuitif sont remplies de figures, d’éléments et de symboles issus de diverses traditions. Comme les personnages sont toujours amicaux et joyeux, je les appelle collectivement des êtres de lumière. Je représente également leurs royaumes. J’aime faire des recherches sur les interprétations possibles et partager ce qu’ils signifient pour moi personnellement, mais il se peut que ces sujets résonnent encore plus profondément chez le spectateur, permettant ainsi une interprétation personnelle supplémentaire.

Vision, Nature Morte ou Commande

Même lorsque je crée à partir d’une vision, d’une observation ou d’une commande, je commence toujours par un moment de recentrage mental. Mais dans ce cas, le processus créatif est différent : je prends des décisions conscientes tout au long du chemin et je sais ce que je veux créer.

Introduction à mon Art Intuitif

Mes sujets sont variés, et en tant qu’artiste, je crois avoir la liberté de créer de multiples façons. Mais je m’efforce toujours de créer un art qui transmet amour, paix, joie et compassion. Aujourd’hui, en 2025, je pense que le type d’artiste intuitive que je suis pourrait aussi être qualifié d’artiste spirituelle ou visionnaire.
